Buy a domain with Tether USDT
Tether USDT is the largest stablecoin by market cap, pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. Launched in 2014, it runs on multiple blockchains—Ethereum (ERC-20), Tron (TRC-20), Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20), and others. USDT is ubiquitous in crypto exchanges, offshore payment flows, and digital commerce where dollar stability matters but bank wires don't work. Privacy-wise, USDT is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Your wallet address is visible on-chain. Anyone can trace transactions unless you use mixers or privacy protocols—both legal gray areas depending on jurisdiction. Tether Limited, the issuer, operates under scrutiny from US regulators and has faced transparency questions. USDT reserves are audited periodically, but controversies persist. Regardless, USDT remains the go-to dollar substitute for unbanked ops, cross-border transfers, and crypto-native businesses. For domain registration at bunkerdomains, USDT is ideal. We accept TRC-20 (Tron) and ERC-20 (Ethereum) USDT. Tron is faster and cheaper; Ethereum offers broader wallet support. You send USDT directly to our wallet, no intermediary, no KYC, no bank trail. We don't ask for ID, we don't report transactions, and we don't freeze accounts because someone doesn't like your content. Pay with USDT, register anonymously, skip the legacy banking circus. Most payments confirm in minutes; domain activates same-day if paid before 18:00 UTC. Regulatory status varies. USDT is legal to hold and spend in most jurisdictions, but some countries restrict stablecoins or crypto payments outright. China bans crypto transactions. US entities face reporting obligations. EU's MiCA framework will license stablecoins by 2025. Offshore, USDT flows freely. If you're operating in a gray market or need payment rails outside Western banking, USDT works. We don't care what you use it for—just pay on time.
Why USDT?
Dollar Stability Without Banks
USDT tracks the US dollar. No wild price swings. You pay $10 in USDT, we receive $10 in USDT. No exchange-rate gambling, no volatility headaches. Skip the bank account, the SWIFT code, the compliance officer who asks why you're registering domains in Iceland.
Anonymous Payment, No KYC
Send USDT from any wallet. We don't require identity documents, phone verification, or proof of address. Your wallet address is pseudonymous on-chain. We don't link it to your real name unless you tell us. Most domain registrars demand ID and billing info—we don't.
Fast Confirmation, Same-Day Activation
Tron USDT confirms in seconds, Ethereum in minutes. Once payment hits our wallet and reaches required confirmations, your domain order processes automatically. Pay before 18:00 UTC, domain goes live same day. No wire-transfer delays, no weekends off.
Globally Accessible, Offshore-Friendly
USDT works anywhere with internet. No geographic restrictions, no blocked countries (from our side—check your local laws). Whether you're in Bangkok, Buenos Aires, or Belgrade, send USDT and register. We don't discriminate by passport or IP address.
Low Fees on Tron Network
TRC-20 USDT transactions cost pennies—often under $1. Ethereum ERC-20 fees fluctuate with gas prices, sometimes $5–$20 during congestion. Choose Tron if you want cheap and fast. Both networks supported, your call.
No Chargeback Risk, No Freezes
USDT transactions are irreversible. Once confirmed, the payment is final. We don't face chargeback fraud like credit cards or PayPal disputes. You don't face account freezes because a payment processor decided your domain name violates their morals. Crypto settlements are permissionless.
Step by step
- 1Search and Select Your DomainUse our domain search to find available domains. Pick TLDs that fit your use case—offshore registries for anonymity, free-speech TLDs for controversial content, ccTLDs for local presence. Add domains to cart.
- 2Choose USDT as Payment MethodAt checkout, select Tether USDT. Specify network: TRC-20 (Tron) for low fees and speed, or ERC-20 (Ethereum) for broader wallet compatibility. Both work—pick based on your wallet and cost preference.
- 3Receive Payment Address and AmountSystem generates a unique USDT deposit address and exact amount in USDT. Screenshot or copy the address carefully. Sending to wrong address means lost funds—crypto transactions are irreversible. Double-check network matches your wallet.
- 4Send USDT from Your WalletOpen your wallet (Trust Wallet, MetaMask, Binance, hardware wallet, whatever). Send the exact USDT amount to our address on the correct network. Overpaying slightly is fine; underpaying delays processing. Include sufficient network fee to avoid stuck transactions.
- 5Wait for Blockchain ConfirmationTron transactions confirm in seconds (1 block). Ethereum takes 1–3 minutes (12–30 blocks depending on congestion). Our system monitors the blockchain and detects payment automatically. No need to email proof—automation handles it.
- 6Domain Activates AutomaticallyOnce payment confirms and reaches required block depth, your domain order processes. Nameservers activate, WHOIS privacy applies by default (free), domain appears in your account dashboard. Paid before 18:00 UTC? Live same day. After? Next business day.
- 7Manage Domain AnonymouslyLog into dashboard with your account credentials (no real name required). Update DNS, configure nameservers, renew domain with crypto, transfer out if needed. We don't ask questions. You control your domain; we stay out of the way.
Fees & speed
USDT transaction fees depend entirely on which blockchain network you use. Tron (TRC-20) is the clear winner for cost and speed. Typical TRC-20 USDT transfer costs 1–2 TRX, currently under $1 USD, often just a few cents. Confirmation happens in 3 seconds per block; 19 block confirmations (about 1 minute) give finality. Tron processes thousands of transactions per second with no congestion backlog. If you're paying for a $10 domain, spending $0.50 on fees makes sense. Ethereum (ERC-20) USDT is slower and more expensive. Gas fees fluctuate wildly—anywhere from $2 during off-peak hours to $20+ when network is congested. Ethereum block time averages 12 seconds, but we require 12 confirmations (roughly 3 minutes) for security. If gas prices spike, your transaction might sit in the mempool unless you pay higher priority fees. ERC-20 makes sense if you already hold USDT on Ethereum or use wallets that don't support Tron, but expect higher costs. Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20) USDT is a middle ground—faster than Ethereum, slightly more expensive than Tron, but we don't currently accept BEP-20 for domain payments. Stick with TRC-20 or ERC-20. Reliability: Both Tron and Ethereum networks have near-perfect uptime. Tron hasn't had a major outage since 2019. Ethereum occasionally congests during NFT drops or DeFi panics, slowing transactions but not stopping them. Once your USDT transaction broadcasts, it will confirm—question is how fast and how much you paid in fees. We monitor both chains in real-time; payment detection is automatic. No need to contact support unless something truly bizarre happens.
